On 2nd of April, RCB and RR both are going to play their 4th
IPL match this season. In 2015, two matches were played between the RR and RCB.
The first one had no result because of heavy rain during the match. RR and RCB
had to share 1 point each. In the second match RCB won by 71 runs. There were
no matches between the two teams during 2016 and 2017 because RR had been
suspended for match-fixing. In 2018, both teams played two matches and both
were won by RR. RR won the IPL once in 2008. RCB never won the tournament but achieved
the Runner-up title thrice in 2009, 2011 and 2016. RR never got the Runner-up
title. Most of the time RCB and RR secured the 4th-8th
positions.
